Should be fitting window grilles but weather awful so ended up changing tyres....

Original setup was Continental Cross Contact 235/85 R16 on dual finish alloys (I think the offset is 33mm?):

I wanted more offset but can’t run to wheels and tyres right now so Terrafirma 30mm hub-centric spacers going on (not done up or torqued up here).....you can just see the fresh Dinitrol job by Zagato (forum sponsor and absolutely excellent work):

BFG AT KO2 265/75 R16 going on (white lettering inside). And fair play to ATS who had the best price and spent a great deal of time making sure they were properly balanced and looked up the correct torque settings for the spacers and the alloys.

Front BFG, rear Continental:

And the finished job....happy with this:

Will adjust the bump stops when the rain stops..... Ian

Was thinking of a set of Zu’s in gloss black. 11mm offset and lose the spacers; would bring the outside edge of the tyre inboard a little more under the arches......but for the time being happy with the look and very happy with the tyre. Surprised just how quiet they are on the road. Ian

Yeah they look really good . The CC’s that come as standard aren’t bad either for noise. Thumbs Up

Tracker fitted a while back and there’s been a box from LRD Security under the stairs for a while now....

Spot of paternity leave so time to make the defender a little less mobile while the boy sleeps, rather than just being able to find it if it goes missing.

Various bits and bobs to fit (and probably won’t be adding a photo history of them) but here is a nice bit of kit:

Power coated, 3mm steel, invisible fixings and bolted from underside. Protects the bonnet release cable and a number of electrical fittings (but not your knuckles when you fit it.....). Have persuaded myself not to think about what it cost but it’s substantial and very nicely made, obviously does the job and looks very good.

Also makes the other plastic grilles look very shabby..... Ian
