After 70 years of production, we pay tribute to the Wilks brothers and the original Land Rover with World Land Rover Day

Landrover have slipped from producing a vehicle from initial drawing in one year to now taking six or seven years

Happy Birthday Land Rover!
Had me thinking about the fact and dropping in on D2N a couple of times already today. wondering if we will some glimse of the new one tonight. Two iconic brands celebrate their 70th birthdays this year. The other being Porsche, whose birth date is considered to be 8th June 1948. However, back to 30th April, and Land Rover.
