Boost Alloys & BFG 265 75 R16

Apologies if the following is bleeding obvious!

I am currently running the above tyres on original steel wheels, but have had trouble with tyres going flat owing to the rims which are a bit tatty.

I am thinking about putting them on Boosts; if I do, will they still need inner tubes? I presume I should also be able to do without the spacers.

Thanks for any advice.

You should be able to go tubeless on boosts

Well, I have swapped the BFGs on to the Boosts; the only problem I now have is that the spare will not fit on the rear-door mount without resting against the rear wiper. Are there any solutions to this without welding on an extension to each of the bolts? Would a simple M12 washer or two do the job and be safe enough?

You should be able to space the wheel out with washers safely

that's what I did to fit my 285s
