FS> Land Rover Snorkel
I have for sale the snorkel off my motor- it is genuine Land Rover 2010 spec item (Part No: LR008383) and comes with all the parts needed to fit. It is in great condition and the only down side is the grill at the top which has started to rust (you only see this part if you look up it).

I have Googled the part number and retail on this item is over £350 go get yourself a bargain at £150 Smile.

Any questions just ask Very Happy

Glyn :sheep:

Would your RAI obstruct a roll cage by any chance?

My identical RAI is rusting in the same place too? Why on earth did they not use stainless or even plastic for that bit?

There is a metal grill under the "hat" on the top, as Andrew says, you can only see it if you are under the snork looking up the side of it.

On mine there is a little rust, I think it is a low grade stainless steel.

I do. That's a great lane as you go up from the visitor centre past the sculptures then down the other side. Just uphil from the pic they've put a big rock to stop the daft types from cutting the corner which for some reason lots of people had begun to do. Also certain areas of it have been flattened out this year by the council, more gravel added too. It was better last year but I can see why they've done it as the snow and subsequent water did a lot of damage.

Paul, there isn't "lots", the main lane across is the one in glyns truck. it goes from very close to the visitor centre across the hill and down, and at the bottom you turn left on to the main road then go up through hawkshead onto the next one, the closest of which goes through a quarry and is a decent length. Last time we did that particular lane was in august after we did Walna Scar in the morning, just before it was closed (again)
