Paul McCartney.
Sir Paul is "downunder" so had to go to see the legend.
Wifey got a "V.I.P." package which included food & alcohol, plus admittance to Sir Paul's "soundcheck" which was like a mini concert in itself, Paul doing stuff like Elvis' "Blue Suede Shoes"!
Anyway, got to the venue around 2.30pm, straight into the V.I.P. area for champagne, wine , nibblies etc, then down to the stadium for soundcheck.
Then back up to V.I.P. area for a great meal, met some lovely people, the guy sitting next to me had a DB9!
Then down to the Stadium for the concert where we were 4th row back dead center..wifey did well!!
A great concert, Sir Paul was on stage for almost 3 hrs, really tight backing band, did all his favorites, with some good conversation.....a most memorable evening.

I support the idea you should keep him down under.
Seriously over rated.

It most definitely was,...a perfect evening, we were actually very lucky with the weather, we've had HEAPS of rain recently, which as it was an "open air" concert would have been a real "dampener"!
We'd never been to an "open air" concert before, but our son in law told us that the sound was much better,...I'd have to agree.

I don't care for Paul's politics but the Beatles are one of the greatest, most talented bands to ever assemble. I discovered their music as a teenager in the 90's and still today, it's mind boggling to me how many great songs they made. Ill never witness a greater band in my lifetime most likely.
