I bought last year a new set of genuine gloss black Wolf wheels (part Nbr VPLDW0095PVT) from my dealer and they also have HL2 stamped on. They are produced July 2015 (carry 0715 stamped production mark). In 2015 LR offered these gloss black HD Wolf wheels as a free of charge option on the Defender Black Edition. Looks like in later years they were not produced anymore, because when I ordered them here last fall, our importer had only 3 in stock and got a 4th one fresh from Solihull. All carrying the same 0715 stamp. My first set of genuine Wolf wheels dated back to 2008, carried the same HL2 stamp. Top of my head a genuine HL2 stamped Wolf wheel weighs about 16.0/16.5 kilos. Are those Lemmers wheels the same weight?
Eric

Without weighing them to get an accurate figure, I would say they are the same weight. I certainly cannot feel any discernible difference when picking them up. It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten

Nice.
Did you balance them already? Word of caution: balance weights holders may scratch the paint. That what happened to me. I see now rust coming up in those areas.

The tyre shop recommended using balancing beads so I went along with that.
Just have to wait and see how it works out but I like the idea of not having the external weights.

Just for interest, when I had my new Michelin's (7.50 R16s) fitted to my standard steel wheels early this year, the tyre place hadn't got a big enough centre to fit them on their balancing machine and suggested, as they were 'top quality tyres', I tried them unbalanced to see how they went.

I've subsequently had no need to have them balanced at all, and no vibration problems at any speed right up to motorway journeys.

I do have five new genuine Wolfs to fit soon, once I can get my backside in gear to get them painted. This thread has provided a fair bit of inspiration.

I had my new tyres fitted with all weights placed at the back, so no damage to paint 'Volvo XC 70, taking the rough with the smooth’

What do you mean "at the back"?

On the side of the rim that faces inward when fitted to the vehicle. It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten
