Seems the guys that run the East Of England LR set up rate these. Anyone used one? 1951 80" S1 2.0

2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Orkney Grey

I've got a smart gauge on my trailer. Two batteries, wired in parallel so treated as one.

Works reasonably well so that at a button push I can see remaining charge and decide if I need to haul out the solar panel or not. It is supposed to self calibrate over time, but I found that it drained the batteries when left connected over a period of time (trailer is stored off site with no power for maybe months without being used). SO I have to remove batteries and bring them home to be trickle charged. It is not connected long enough to properly self-calibrate.

So works reasonably well for me, but a voltmeter would probably have done as well for what I need. Interesting to see that they do a split charge, my current (ho ho) one is very simple and I worry that the second battery on the V8 is not being very well looked after.

1995 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Epsom Green

I have an M Power VSR and a voltmeter which I can switch to show each battery.

Works well enough for what I need and is a good chunk cheaper. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.
