Not that one unfortunately. It was mounted flat onto the heater blower panel on a puma.
But thanks for playing ![]() |

Hello
Why do you need to get at the menu? I've tried two types now, a flip up one and flat one with as you say the menu buttons on the rear. I've never used them? Once in place it works no need unless you have two cameras and want to go to AV1 or AV2? |

I've no idea if I need to get at the menu buttons or not. But if I glue the monitor in place I won't ever be able to get at them. Not even sure what they do tbh. I'm after just a very simple display, single input for reverse camera only. Just want it tucked out of the way.

The one I have does very little on the menus
Swap between 2 inputs. brightness, contrast, 16:9 or 4:3 I have never changed them and doubt you would ever so would think any would do? |

You could go down the rear view mirror integrated route or fit it to the sun visor?
Otherwise, go all in and go double din. |

Ifor Williams do a stand alone one, or you could go the routes suggested. WeWillWinπ¬π§πΊπΈ

No interest in a double din unit. Waste of money.
I've tried the mirror with integrated screen. Was sent back after a few days. The mirror only works properly in certain light conditions. I'm going to just get a basic one like suggested earlier and hope I won't need to use the menu buttons. |

It is a problem in the Puma due to the lack of anywhere readily available for the screen.
I don't want a rear view mirror solution, because I don't have an interior RVM! I don't want to go double din (way too expensive and too much hassle just for a screen). Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with single din flip screen units? I notice that several of these have camera inputs and thought that that might be an option. |

As you haven't got a rear view mirror, is that not the ideal place to mount a screen instead? Darren

Yes bad, I had one and sent it back because it covered way to many switches and with the loom on the back it was very tight to fit all the wiring in (Td5 admittedly) Couldn't reach hazard rear and front heated screen and rear windscreen wiper and wash in mine ![]() 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

That is exactly what is putting me off trying one - I couldn't reach the switch for the hazards, more importantly I couldn't reach the switches for the heated front screen and battery of all-round scene-lighting.
I could mount a sceen above the centre panel of the dash but that would obscure the clock. Guess I'll just continue to live without a reversing camera! |

An interesting idea, though it would have to be a fairly teeny screen. I will investigate. |

Just adjust the screen out so there is room behind.
Have it set manually so you can open and close it when you like. Not used mine in ages, it's playing up. 1 DIN or 2 it's all gone way way to expensive to be worth it now & what ever you buy will be out of date in a couple of years. WeWillWinπ¬π§πΊπΈ β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |
