LT230 transfer box refurbishment. - bush left over on the be
Hi

I changed all bearings and seals in my MY 2012 transfer box and fitted an Ashcroft diff,

When I was ready a 16mm bush was left over on the bench... Grrrrr...

Where is it situated? Thought at first at a selector shaft, but it is to small to sleeve over.

It could be a locating dowel. Parts 2, 25 or 26.

Thank you. Will check. Think you are right. Luckily not within the transfer box! Smile

If it's not for there compare the size against the intermidiate shaft.
Some housings flog out where the "0" rings sit, there is modification where a bush/sleave is inserted.
This requires the casing to be drilled/machined and the bush pressed in Cheers,
Kyle.
