In conjunction with fitting Nakatanenka spare wheel carrier I also fitted Nakatanenka folding table to the rear door.

Hello
How deep is it? fro the side. Looks very handy for a nice burner and coffee stops 
How much is just the table and is it ok to fit (any cutting of the rear door trim?) Like that, would be good camping and weekends away. |

https://www.nakatanenga.de/zubehoer/innena...klapptisch Quite easy to fit. Use 4 M8x100 bolts in the outer holes for the wheel carrier. Drill four 8mm holes in the door card. Fit three 35mm spacers and 4 M8 lock nuts behind door card. And drill 4 8mm holes in the back of the folding table and fix it with 4 M8 nuts. That is it. Click image to enlarge |

I planned to make my own and started with a prototype in plywood. Was not happy with the result so I went for this instead. I agree that it is expensive but well worth it in my opinion. The two mounting hooks and rivets that are included can be discarded for the Defender fitment which could save a couple of Euros
