You wouldn't see any leaks if the injector seals have gone as they leak into the engine but your oil may be rising with the diesel in it Ray

I believe there is a small mesh filter in one off the pipes near the fuel filter, can that be the problem? Can somebody advise? I am not sure in which connection it is sitting. Roel

Also check to see you dont have 2 seals on the fuel filter. sometimes the one from the old filter sticks on the housing and then the filter doesn't seal properly and allows air into the system 2001 90 HT 6.0LS/6spdAuto.

latest,it is starting ok but when you press the throttle its very hesitant untill full throttle then it revs, fuel line disconected at filter ignition on fuel flows great, when the engine is running the filter gets hot to hot to touch, new filter same thing,i am thinking regulator, just been down the bypass at 70 deffo not right not the smooth td5 more lumpy and filter roasting after 2 mile run
reading the manual regulator seems to be the one ,before i buy a hawkeye diagnostic would it show the regulator as a fault or is it a visit to a dealer

thanks

loz
