You finally got it grafty on the name

No worries grafty with the lift

i have sorted out the whistle coming from the near side door with no added expense :whistle

Well that is a proper bearing failure

Glad you can get it sorted out easier now you got the lift to help you

Yes much easier with the ramp

awaiting the stub axle from IRB. Will be here tomorrow. Checking the rear bearings whilst it is on the ramp

Got my defender up and running today with a new stub axle and bearings. Also converted to the twin nut Tdi style from single nut Td5.

As we are now coming into holiday season I didn't manage to get over 35mph on my usual 6 mile test route (all derestricted roads

) but all seems well

Another thank you to Clayton for giving me a ride home and I have found a picture I took on the way home

I have been on call at work today so haven't been able to go far. So as I have 8 hours to kill I decided to have a play around with my gearbox and transfer box knobs.

So I went for a heritage look and copied justFX's idea of colouring in the markings on top.

I chose silver which I think works well
