Matbro Telehandler
I know some people on here are plant fitters, so hopefully you might be able to give us some advice.

Looking at buying a Matbro Telehandler, not sure of model no. But I think it is a TS160.

The problem is the brakes don't work, are there any common faults with the brakes on them, and if so what are the likely repair costs?

Most Likely TS260, example below
http://brownsag.co.uk/recently-sold/matbro-ts260-teleporter

Can't help much more - used to sell them, not fix them !

Friction discs approx £85.00
Or is it a drum braked axle????

Any idea of the age, model etc?

I used to look after an older one years ago, and ended up replacing the foot valve, due to poor brakes.
I know they have came on a long way since then!

I do have a few workshop manuals kicking about for these if I can find them?? 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered.

Thanks Guys, have spoken to the seller this morning who has confirmed that it is a TS260 approx. 1995, and also spoke to Wayne at Matbro-Man, who has given me some very helpful pointers.

I am now more confident that the brakes are not a major issue, having spoken to Wayne, and the owner has also informed me that it had a Loler on it in May 2016, so everything must have been okay then.

As other people have said this forum has a fountain of all knowledge

Thanks everyone, however, would appreciate any pearls of wisdom other people may have for us.

If we buy the machine, Ian I would be interested in any manuals that you do have.
