Reading your other posts, I believe your 90 was a pickup - is this correct?
Did you do the soft top conversion yourself and if so, can I ask who's kit you used and how long it took you? |

Thanks all for the very positive reaction to the Defender. I got the hood frame, seatbelt bar and hood from Exmoor Trim via BLRC, our local independent specialists ( good lads and I would recommend them). The whole job of removing the truck cab and fitting the soft top took about 2-3 hours in total. My next mod will be a secure cubby box and possibly a Momo steering wheel from Mud UK. So far I have fitted diff guards, steering guard and snow cowl - a great bit of kit for keeping all crap out of your heater - not just snow! Wheels are 7 x 16 black modular from Paddock - great value and I really like the look. They also fill the wheel arches without the need for spacers. Tyres are 255 85 16 BFG Muds - not too noisy and great off road. Like most Defenders it is very much a work in progress - any suggestions for future improvements / mods?

I'd suggest ; paint your steering guard black, then the galv hood door surrounds...paint them black too.
Then I'd say that was pretty much perfect! I love seeing rag tops.... |
