Got an inexpensive spare wheel cover for the bonnet mounted spare on the LR 88. To stop it billowing up by air forced under it while driving I got the "technical department" i.e. the wife to put some vent holes in it.

Got the engineering dept. to add two more holes making a total of four but it still billows up. So no success. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

A bit of cord and use the new holes to tie the cover down to the wheel Ray

Get a circular board approx 24" in diameter and bond it inside the cover.
