Flash headlights when indicating

Does anyone else find that the indicator stalk is really sensitive in that you can accidentally flash main beam when activating the indicators? Literally a mm of motion towards me flashes the lights.

OK, I'm loathed to change the stalk due to the work involved and the fact that it might not change anything! Will learn to operate them with a slight backward push!
