Any competent, qualified, local auto electrician ought to be able to install that lot where you want and how you want, doesn't have to be a Land Rover specialist either. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Not sure if any of the kit above has this included, but one thing I am going to wire into my setup is a manual cut-off switch for the spare battery wiring...
Basically, most of the normal stuff runs as intended off the main battery, but i wanted to be able to run a fridge off the leisure / second battery when the fridge was there, but also be able to turn all things off when not in use... Just a thought |

Unless your running a winch through it I'd bin off the Blue-sea relay and get a Durite VSR.
Also the merlin smartguage looks to be more than you'd need for running a fridge. I'll be honest, I have a £3 ebay voltmeter for keeping an eye on my two batteries, and that works fine for getting a rough idea! What sort of loads do you want to run and for how long? What battery do you have now and how old is it? |

My personal set up is a Albright relay with a on off on switch. On1 is both batteries linked On2 both batteries linked but only when ign is on . this gives you the option to jump start your self should you leave the lights in or Battery 1 dies. You could wire in a VSR and then have a bypass switch.
I have a Madman EMS2 that monitors the engine Inc Voltage on Battery 1 then a cheap eBay cigarette socket size LED display that does Battery 2 wired through a switch |
