Alarm reset after new master battery 2008 puma 90
Hi all, sorry if this has been covered before , but I couldn't see it Very Happy

Replaced the main vehicle battery this afternoon, it wasn't flat but wouldn't hold charge for more than a few days,
So probally only disconnected 10-15 mins max,
All started up fine,
But can't seem to get the alarm fob to lock / unlock any more ?

I have locked the vehicle with the key and they all locked fine,

Any tips please ?

Thanks in advance

Press lock or un-lock around 5 times quickly with all doors shut.
Watch the dash, the alarm LED will flash fast then go back to normal speed.
After this it should be back to normal.

Try more than 5 times, I can't recall the exact number of presses. It doesn't matter.

If that still doesn't work does it have a battery backed up alarm sounder on yours or not?

Either way, disconnect the battery for 5 minutes then reconnect it and try the procedure I mentioned.

How old was your battery? If not that old are you sure there isn't battery drain through something wrong.
Possibly central locking related but a stab in the dark.
