Personally? Get a jetboil or take a thermos!
Not used one, but it can be a pain finding decent firewood quickly, especially when it's been raining! I'd also question how quickly it would boil a pan of water, having cooked on open fires and the like, it takes time and a reasonable volume of wood to get enough heat output. |

Yes I've never seen/heard a bad review about Jetboil and you can purchase them for only a little more than the Ezy Stove. The Jetboil is indeed 'on my list.' The messing about with wet sticks was part of the attraction for the kids, and I'm inclined to at least consider a non-gas stove, but I'm also very taken with the Jetboil!  |

Cheers Terry, a good independent review. It does look effective and is still appealing to the kids for obvious reasons.
I've been considering the Jetboil Flash, and I think Mrs Screbble would prefer that. Given its mainly for occasional use (stored in the Landy) for making a brew then the Jetboil does tick all the boxes. That said, I can't help wanting the Ezy Stove for a bit of fun |

Keep in the car with some bottled water, coffee & hotel size UHT milk's, have a coffee any time any place anywhere as the advert goes 2020 P300 HSE |

Just picture those evenings sat around the Jetboil, that look on the kids faces... it will last in your memory for ever

Can you toast Marshmallows on a jetboil? Don't get me wrong it looks good but not much fun and camping trips generally mean you have more time to do everything... get the stove !  |

If you want to keep the kids amused and boil water then why not get a Kelly Kettle, about the same size as a 1 litre stainless thermos, and quick to boil water

Decisions, decisions....
I must admit, you're all helping me and not helping me!  you've also made me laugh!
I am in danger of becoming that bloke in the pub in the Fast Show played by Paul Whitehouse who kept agreeing with whoever had the last word. 
I do have to sat that those Kelly Kettles also look good.... Gordon Banks in goal. Head or heart? I'm going to phone a friend, and I shall let you know the outcome. In the meantime, please do keep those reviews and suggestions coming in. |

I have 2 gas stoves, 1 fuel stove and a self made Ikea stove. I'd love to add the Ezy Stove now. Just because it looks cool.  |

I've had a kelly kettle for years, great piece of kit. I'd highly recommend it

Seriously, your feedback and advice is genuinely appreciated. So in terms of how I'm leaning at the moment..... .....still ever so slightly toward the Ezy Stove! I'm still open to persuading |
