That is a fine looking stove! Let us know how you get on with it, I may have to get one.
May I suggest, you could keep on hand some alcohol gel fuel, handy as a back up in times when you can't get good firewood, or need to cook indoors. Been getting into it quite a bit recently, very economical, very clean (can also use it to clean your hands with!). Use it with my mKettle (mini kelly-style kettle), or burn in a small tin (although you don't even need the tin).  |

I have some Fire Dragon to hand 'just in case' for the reasons you state. I'm very pleased with the new stove. I had another play today and it is so efficient. I didn't need much tinder and once you get the hand of the stick jiggling the heat is ferocious. My little Dutch kettle turned up today so a find brew was had by all - well, two of us 
I live close to a wood, so I shall be collecting quite a bit of free fuel tomorrow ready for the weekend |

Bone dry beech sticks for the ezy-stove (no spitting) and pine cones for the ghillie kettle - Keep a load in the shed. Can't beat a bit of outdoor cooking.. |

I picked up this thing at the weekend from a jumble sale, had some spare time this evening so cleaned it up and got it running. Didn't have any parrafin so used some diesel out of the Landy
Seemed to suit it fine and it worked good once it was primed and hot, boiled enough water for a cuppa in no time.

I like the look of that. How old do you reckon it is?
Cooked the family breakfast on the Ezy Stove this morning and several brews since. Collected a load of tinder, kindling and fuel from the woods this morning. Really can recommend said stove for a bit of fun |
