In hot countries this method is used for getting front headlights back to clear when they go all yellowy cloudy.

Brasso is a much, much finer abrasive. I have used it for removing scratches from CDs in the past too.

Brushes ALWAYS cause scratches,use a cloth (micro fibre for the win).For a better finish.

Would also add,ALL plastic lenses always come with a UV protector.So a well polished LENS won't last long. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Hopefully I will make my mind up what to do regarding the LED 'lights' so this is only a stop gap...
