Ravelco Anti Theft Device - another layer

Evening all,

Have any of you used or seen one of these in action as want to add another layer?

They are saying that it has never been defeated so am interested in opinions please.

Thanks,

Steve

Never heard if it but like the sound of it! Very simple and clever.

Looks good, but I think it would work better on newer defenders rather than older ones.

looks good to me, price? Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty..
Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be!

It will only be as good as the person who installs it

I was thinking the exact same thing and thought this might be something you would like to add to your business?

Cheers,

Steve

That's very kind of you Bow down

But in all honesty I think this type of immobiliser is just too easy to defeat - granted you'd need time, but there are only a few circuits you could interrupt and with the right 'kit' these are easily over ridden.

I'm not saying don't use it, I'm all for a layered approach, but I don't (personally) think it's anything special and I'm sure there are variations on this theme available in the UK

Looks pretty good and the USD price is not that bad tbh, but wonder how it will translate to UKP... Whistle

And does the price include installation... Mr. Green

Could be very scary if your child pulled the cap off at 70 mph on the M6.

Why would your child, or anyone else's for that matter, be loose in the driver's footwell, or anywhere else in a vehicle, at 70mph on the M6... Shocked

Or, indeed, at any other time whilst you are driving... Whistle

I honestly cannot see that as a negative for the system... Mr. Green
