Awesome work Yolo110, looks very tidy
A bit of an OCD question here but I'm considering doing the same (well actually, not personally as I don't possess your trimming skills, but paying someone else to do it!) but I've been thinking about how easy/tough it'd be to pull up the soundproofing and remove the adhesive, should i ever want to.
A bit of a daft one as hopefully there'll never be a need to pull it up and restore the bare paint finish, why ever?, but all the same in my OCD'ness I've been thinking about this situation. My best thoughts are to put Paint Protection Film down before hand then if when I or someone wants to remove then just remove the film and job done. Although PPF isn't that easy to remove in itself though, but possibly easier than manually acetone'ing down adhesive.
Hope this doesn't get your head OCD'ing on this issue post application, absolutely not intended! It's a pretty daft OTT OCD one, but just thinking about it anyway. Clearly not keeping myself busy enough at the moment!!
