United Kingdom 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
CCTV Monitor Power Supply
I am about to fit a couple of cctv cameras to my horse trailer, one internally for viewing the horses whilst travelling and the other externally as a reversing camera behind the trailer. I am looking to mount the monitor on the parcel shelf below the passenger grab handle. The monitor requires an ignition fed 12 volt supply, maximum current draw 1.2 amps. Can someone recommend where I can tap into an existing cable, preferably somewhere that doesn’t require me to strip down half the dashboard. Defender 90XS SW

I would consider a switch and a direct feed off the battery. That way you can keep an eye on the horses when you are parked up? 1999 Defender TD5 110

For the internal camera, you can take it from the live socket at the rear in the rigth side of the defender (the same that some of us used to install a 12V socket). For the reverse one I use the feed of the reverse ligths.
