2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS DCPU Keswick Green

Not checked the piping but could you split it and insert a wire gauze filter - rather like the filter in an old 2.25. - it would capture most of the muck and keep it out of the egr mechanism?

Hmm.
Maybe I'm leaning more towards the EGR valve now then!
It's been running as sweet as anything the last couple of days which coincides with it being warmer, and before I bought it it was only doing 3-5000 miles a year so short journeys I guess.

So. Take out, clean, �4 or so for a banking plate, put up with errors for a bit and see how it runs. That's affordable

If that fixes it, get it properly disabled and go from there.

It will be running sweet, it's stuck closed so already blanked it's self off.
