Simple answer no! Raised Air Intake or Snorkel may aid/increase airflow under certain conditions but will not 'be taken into account' by usual mapping, so it makes little or no difference to the end result! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Landy,

With the Safari Snorkel you do not need to move the aerial aparently! See here:

no aerial issues with the safari

Apparently Safari are the only manufacturer that monitor airflow as part of their snorkel design Mike

Mantec snork does not need ariel to be moved and was designed with Land Rover to be fitted to the Td5.

I bought a Safari - no regrets! Thumbs Up If you're unsure here may be a good start to have a look for comparisons....

At the risk of antagonising Discocuzzy I'm going to post a picture....No wheel/tyre combo so I should be ok... Rolling with laughter

Does give a good comparison view I think...

The elephant trunk is mine and the trilby hat Fekete's. Hope this helps. Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
