Help Please Diagnostic plug won't read on snap on machine
HI guys

I'm building my 110 crew cab 2004 pickup at the moment. Iv gone to plug a snap machine in to clear any fault codes on the ecu an I'm getting nothing back. Can any ono help with a wiring diagram or but any ideas where to start looking for a broken wire

Check your fuses are all ok .

yes iv checked all fuses all ok. I'm using a new ethos snap machine iv gone through the menu an in comes up with 2004 defender models covered. is there a check list i need to go through

Strange , I used mine on a 2000 Td5 with no problems to check the engine and abs .

Can you check with another system? My 90 has a similar problem, I can read data etc with my Nanocom but to program my ECU and AS10 they have to be put in another vehicle, they don't accept it in my 90.

I also get regulary a message when starting the Nanocom: Cannot init with the ECU (or something like that). I have to switch the engine off and wait a minute and start again. Most off the times it will work then. Roel
