had a road side recovery guy empty my fuel filter to check for water in the fuel, he just fill'd it up with diesal and i had no problems starting after, it says in the hand book that its not good to run out of fuel but if you do you need to put at least 5 Lt in the tank to get it restarted, which tells me that it should start, and you get 2 keys with 2 remote locking fob's in the uk.

There have been some earlier posts on this. Including one where AndrewS made his own priming tool.
But as i mentioned then and as DCH mentions, there is no need to bother, it does seem on all occasions i have come across so far to self prime eg: fill it with fuel and turn it over. Mike |

Sat on the Pont-Aven ferry returning from a trip to Morocco. I had to replace the fuel filter on the 130. It would not re-start when the new (filled with diesel) filter was fitted. I had to prime the system as described in the thread posted in the past using the home made tool. So glad I had it with me.
I have replaced filters in the past and never had to use the priming tool, the cars simply start, cough and splutter but keep running and all is OK. TF I had it with me. 130's have feeling's as well you know ![]() |

I had the same sort of fault, changed the filter but didn't fill it up
![]() I used some 10mm POLYURETHANE (soft and pliable) compressed air hose and a lift pump for a 200tdi - worked a treat. The polyurethane pipe is the soft type and it wont damage the seals if you're careful Ickle |
