Rubber mats
Front footwell mats have you got any? What type have you got genuine or or non genuine? I wouldn't mind some gen ones but i don't have a local dealer as such and on duckworth parts its about £58 plus delivery!!!! Thanks

I have genuine ones in the TD5 - a million times better than the non-genuine rubbish I looked at before getting the pukka mats. Not cheap as you've mentioned, but definitely worth it. My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

you missed a trick there.... I told the sales man I wanted front, middle and rear space mat included in the price ... genuine ones are good.

having said that, the td5 middle row is a single piece, whereas the tdci is 2 pieces joined in the middle .. not sure why ... i prefer the td5 one

we've got the genuine ones as well - but this is the 3rd waggon they've been in - so are now 16yrs old and still going strong! Thumbs Up

The 2nd row ones are split and are better then the one piece in my opinion, as when you've got wet/muddy stuff in the back it is easy to whip the mat out one side than pull the whole thing out - and also if you need something to kneel on to take a peek under the waggon, or to stand on when getting changed after wakling, canoeing or surfing

We also got a full boot mat at the same time as the 1st waggon - so that is also a fab bit of kit! I took it out of the last waggon we had after 10yrs of abuse - the carpet looked brand new!

no contest - I'd buy them again ! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html

Genuine rubber throughout. Seems very strong. The only issue I've suffered from is condensation under the rubber mat (particularly bad in the luggage area). It can lead to smelly carpets. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Full LR mats all round. They are very good quality. The rear load space one weights a ton!. I think they are one of the few genuine parts that are worth the money......and I'm a tight Yorkshire man Sheep

I've genuine LR mats front & middle. Very thick and heavy duty, in the XS (don't know if all others are the same) but the lever of the clutch pedal does catch on the mat due to the carpet underneath lifting it further up the footwell.

Rear is two-piece, slight annoyance is that it overlaps more than the links are designed for, but it does the job. I've not lined the rear yet because I'm not sire what I'm doing with it, might buy some cheap rubber to cover it for the time being until I'm more decided.

The mats are so togh I'd be tempted to use them to drive on in soft ground in emergencies!
