A permanent 12V supply for pin 1 out could be picked up from the hazard switch - purple/brown pin 2.
The output from pin 4 could then go off to the relay pin 86. Relay pin 85 would need earthing, and the "feedback" from the output of the relay would not need to go back to the switch. ![]() ![]() |

Yep, should be good as stealing a small amount from the 10amp Hazard just for the relay power should be fine.
![]() In fact, it simplifies it all doing it this way. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

Yes, and probably the same with the rear screen heater switch too. Craig Rogers

I managed to source a Aux spotlight switch for the rear work lamp. The one with the beam and number two on the front. So correct me if I'm wrong. The circuit remains the same as the one I changed but the pins will now be.
1 relay 85 2 dash illumination 3 unused 4 earth 5 as per drawing to 87 Is this correct? |

What switch cover styles are available to fit in the puma dash?
I am thinking of doing this myself and wonder what is the best "style" front to use to indicate its a rear work light. Thanks Darren |

Yes, exactly correct. ![]() You can use 3 or 4 for the earth as they are both the same. Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |
