2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey

Advice needed

Hi there. I'm suffering with bubbling paint to around the windscreen. It's a 60 plate defender and has had the screen surround replaced already. And re sprayed again ! And yet again it's returned. I'm just considering to get it done again or just to leave it. As it will probably happen again. Also there a signs of bubbling around the Alpine window.

If it's a 60 plate hen it's still within the 6 year corrosion warranty so get it in and done under warranty! In June this year I had over 5k of bodywork done on an 09 90 due to corrosion, it ended up having a new complete roof, bulkhead painted, wind screen frame,body cappings and rear panels painted,all done under the warranty.

Was a nightmare to start with as my local dealer are renowned for being more than useless but Sarah at lrcs soon sorted the issues out

Thanks for that. That's sort of what I'm thinking.Though I did look at a 1 year old one yesterday and it was way worse than mine. I'm just sort of thinking that when I get it done it will just return again.

It is a standard issue on just about all defenders as far as I know. Had mine repainted as well.

Ok. Just to keep you updated. Landrover have agreed to do all the corrosion on warranty. With new side steps and grill.Corrosion around the Alpine window and wind screen.

I've just got a 10 plate (registered 01/03/2010), its bubbling around the front screen & alpine windows. Only a couple of weeks until it's 6 years old!!

Will LR cover the warranty??

short answer is Yes...

as long as you have had the regular corrosion check ups at the dealers?
