Hockey Stick
Hi,

Just replacing my bushes and one of the hockey sticks has a huge fault in the bush bore. It looks like an amateur attempt at removing a bush previously.

I am looking for a new radius arm and found one on ebay, are they all the same if they carry the same part number? The part number is HRC2435 and says its from a 300 tdi Discovery.

Mine is a 2000 Td5 Defender, and has HRC2435 arms fitted.

Thanks.

Steve

Although to be honest, the metal is so thick there that the groove isn't going to cause any hassle. Highly unlikely that it'll "crack" from there as the rubber bush will take up any stress from the axle trying to move.

But for peace of mind, yes the 300Tdi onwards arms for disco (Series1) and defender 300/Td5/puma are the same, it's the wider arms you need.

Up to the end of the 200Tdi defender they used the thinner arm with corresponding thinner bush.
