Cam carrier sealant

Pretty much as the title says, what does every body use?

cam carrier? not can , and what engine? ok just looked and post is in td5 section , I must open my eyes!

I've used oil resistant black rtv silicone.

I used wellseal jointing compound.

I am not sure if there are different wellseal products? it like a golden brown liquid, spread it on sparingly. I went for this as the silastic type could very easily block off the oil holes.
