engine swap
Hi All
My j reg 110 is lacking in power.
I have a 300 Tdi Disco engine that I am thinking about fitting in it.

1st question is will it fit to the existing gearbox

2nd question is will the engine mounts line up

3rd question is "has anyone done this recently.

Yes you can mount the gearbox. You have to cut a few of the studs of the back of the engine.

The main problem is the exhaust. It doesn't fit without modifications.

There is a company that supplies a kit to help you fit the 300. It's an ad in the back of the LRO.

I'm pretty sure that engine mounts are also different on the 300, whereas the 200 bolts straight in. Darren
