I can't believe that the wire isn't soldered into that pin in the plug.... even the proper factory crimped plugs don't grip that well, let alone one that's clearly been done by a pair of pliers
I'd go right through that screen wiring loom of it were me, and check (and solder) each connection.

It's worth investing in the correct crimp tool Warpig if you are going to do your own wiring and check the rating of the fuse you've installed.
There was a thread a while back that went into the various tools available and the pros and cons for each
