there are some very interesting theories here being discussed however there are more obvious considerations thats should be discussed in my opion.
clearly there are potential issues with pressure most notably negative pressure at c0.2m from the leading edge of the snorkel terminal. but all these calculations need to be considered against the engine being turbo charged and not naturally aspirated. further more I would suggest the use of a snorkel pressure boost fan (similar to what's used on a boiler flue with excessive resistance). |
