Hi there!
After running 1,500 km (1,000 km on highways) here is a report of the changes noticed in the Defender compared with a standard one: 1.- Easy to reach speed. Before, to overtaken other ca,r the Defender took more time than usual as a very heavy vehicle that struggle to pass from 60 kph to 120 KPH. With the new configuration, the change from 60 to 120 is more agile and the engine doenst looks forced: like a normal car. 2.- Less forced engine: At cruising speed of 120 KPH the engine sound more relaxed and quiet eliminating the typical trembles that you can feel at high speeds. Also this behavior disapearing during the acceleration process. 3.- Less noisy motor: The noise at the cabin has been reduced in special during the acelerations. 4.- Similar Fuel consumptions: not sensible variation in the fuel consumption.
