Yes please, would love to see instructions for first bit to save me breaking anything - recent fixes include a new transmisson (but I now have wing tops that are full of dents Big Cry ) so it would be great to be able to report that at least one aspect of my puma had been improved 1953 80

Just done this mod and it only took about 15 minutes to do.

Wow, the improvement in distance the remote now works is great!

At long last got around to doing mine. I hate to say this but it doesn't appear to have made much difference Big Cry

I'm wondering if I have a dud connection where I crimped the extension wire on Confused

Wife will test it tomorrow so I'll know for sure then. 110 2.4TDCi

Hi Derek

You sure you connected to the correct wire. Embarassed
I ran mine up the door pillar under the cover and pushed it into the ceiling space.
I also skinned the end as it is on the original wire end,
Also soldered the joint and fitted heat shrink.

Yes, definitely the correct wire with the bare end. Only crimped it so I might look at re doing this on the weekend. 110 2.4TDCi

Ha ha! I do that too!gives me an extra 20 meters. It works better when it's cold and dry outside though! I doubt it's improving my brain though.
