Green laning actually
Truth be told I only drove one, not in the pic's. I cheated for the pic's and just drove to the end, reversed and took the snaps Oh, he's only four months old. Of course the question is, how long will the steering box last Chris. http://shropshirelandrovers.freeforums.org 2015 Defender 90 XS SW & Helen, 1964 IIa. If only, it's not a cottage industry it's a group buy I organised on LR4x4 I had done a couple before, and lots of people moaned that they missed out, etc, etc. So I let the final one run for a bit longer and it turned into a house full of lights!! They are all brought and paid for I just need to sort out where they are going now!! Jaosn. |

Went to Munich yesterday afternoon and returned today after a business meeting there this morning, altogether 1300 km. She turned from black to white due to the incredible amount of salt they threw onto the Autobahn. It is always a pleasure to take her on a long journey

Busy day for me... loads of things done:
1- After being caught out a couple of weeks ago I decided to do a little testing on waxing of the fuel out here.... and the results are: +5 DegC: Click image to enlarge -5 DegC: Click image to enlarge You can see the wax on the glass and when checking the thermometer it was covered in crystals 2- As part of my overland trek later in the year I decided to spend some time with the lathe and some brass. Now I am able to bleed the fuel system if needed: Click image to enlarge 3- Probably the most important thing I did today (which I haven't don in a while)...... I reminded myself why I own a Defender and took the scenic route home from work: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Sorry about the picture quality.... my phone failed it's swim test a couple of weeks ago so am now on ipod touch camera. Tomorrow holds: Fitting Fuel filter relocation bracket and fuel filter bowl. Re-fitting front mud-flaps (been on the list of things to do for about 15 months ........ and possibly a full service (including gearbox, transfer box and axles).
