I'm about to go and clear the drive so I can get the Puma into the garage, so I can fit this:

excellent looks great too.
I presume your carrying out some other performance upgrades ? - much quicker do you think it'll be with the reduced weight with it being ally ? ![]() joking aside it looks lovely but why's it made of ally ? |

The standard LR ones are steel which last me about 6 months before getting them replaced by LR due to them rusting and the paint flaking off. Aluminium doesn't rust the same and the bumper is powder coated to protect it. The bumper is a lot heavier than the LR one as it is reinforced, so no weight saving there

I took my 110 out of hibernation today. For those who don't know, I was rushed into hospital three weeks ago with severe appendicitis, havn't been able to drive since but as I am now much better and more mobile I'm okay to do so. Just a quick trip to Oxford and back, then to the carwash to wash off the slime-like crud that had built up. My Landlord parked the 110 under a tree when he took the 110 home from the Hospital (I thought I had food poisoning and didn't anticipate being kept in for four days) so it was covered in stuff that had dropped off the tree. It was nice to get back behind the wheel and everything worked as it should. I even took my IIA out and changed the tyres over to a set of radials.

Dan glad you are feeling better
Lorryman Im jealous great bumper another thing to add to the list Didnt take mine out but did spray everything that can corrode with ACF50 for the 3rd time since I have had it. It is amazing stuff and I would recommend it to anyone, it runs nicely into all the rear tub cappings and all other nooks and crannys. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |
