With the lacquer peeling off my alloys, and therefore needing some attention, I have been toying with the idea of changing the colour on them rather than sticking with the standard black and just relaquering.

I have sprayed up the spare in body colour as a test and now trying to decide which way to go - keep them black or go body colour, or something else?

It's got to be body colour, it looks right Thumbs Up

What rims are they? They are nice!!!

They are the 18x8 ET10 wheels from LRI. They are great - definitely my favourite rims, and even better in body colour now. That pic does not really do them justice - seeing them on the Defender today in the sun they look epic.

Rear focal speakers installed in Mud panels. Currently sat in the Defender playing with carplay and listening to how ridiculously good the sound is now with 6 speakers pointing in all directions instead of 2 just pointing at my feet.

Got the Nakatanenga stainless fixing kit so starting on that too......

Been driving it to my dealer, oops sorry, retailer. Made appointment for next week for the 6 months intermediate service. Which in my case means the annual liquids change. Engine oil and filter, gearbox and transfer box oil change, new diff oils, and one shot grease packs for the hubs. Plus of course a full grease job. That should make it ready for a few longer trips this spring and summer and take it to its normal annual service in September. Annual service in September essentially means engine oil and filter again, air and fuel filters, and another full grease job, plus the three wipers and fob batteries replacement.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
