Any recommendations for cool boxes/fridges for use in an awning? This one looks good and can be used on 12v whilst in the car or on 240v plugged into the external plug socket on my caravan..

FYI: I just bought a 12v/240v cool box from Aldi for £35. Based on a lot of forum feedback from a number of sites, they seem to perform very well and last a long time.

Not heard a bad report, so hopefully it'll do a good job for what we need it for.

Cheers

Simon

Ps Some said they are made by Waeco..?

Couplands I bought the same one from Aldi last year. Its superb. Even in a hot awning it kept drinks chilly although it only claims to keep stuff so many degrees below ambient temperature. Bargain ! Thumbs Up

It's certainly great value...trying to convince Mrs Couplands to spend £600 on a Engle/ARB fridge for the Landy is never going to happen, so this Aldi box is definitely worth the money...Wink
