My two year old loves sticking his arm into the exhaust. It's one hell of a mission to get his arm clean again. Atleast it means my exhaust gets cleaned from time to time Laughing Laughing

Luckily he's never tried it when it was hot

I bet he'd love greasing the UJs even more - get them trained early Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Just make dure he doesn't get his arm stuck in there. Shocked Otherwise it'll be a trip to hospital with half your exhaust pipe lopped off. Laughing _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

We went fishing a couple of weeks ago, and he pushed a fishing rod up there. Was a mission to get it out! Think the tip got stuck in the rear silencer. Luckily I managed to get the rod out without damage Surprised

My tail pipe is black soo, er too. But the exhaust is not. A coating of oily soot might actually delay interior rust. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

More mud on mine than soot! Seems to REALLY bake hard, and is a real sod to clean off... But saying that, it's an oil burner, so soot is gonna be there in vast quantities! ... ,-------,

That explains why mine seems to be lasting forever! I refuse to buy a new stainless one until this one dies!
