United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Java Black
We don't need to worry, we've all got our Tdis, Td5s or Pumas and can keep them.

The 110 is going in for a thorough Waxoyling in a week or two and I'm going to get it done every other year - i'm going to keep her for years.

The early 07 Pumas are already starting to develop a little patina. Ours is far too scratched to pass for brand new now anyway. The inside smells of mini cheddars driven into the seats by my son and the boot smells of Labrador. I love it Thumbs Up

I don't see the problem, 400N.m and 118kW for 2.2 verses 365N.m and 90kW for 2.4. The 2.2 is little highly stresses perhaps? It has proven to be more reliable than the 2.4 so far and will probably be detuned some what, 90kW 380N.m and 11k/l on the open road plus it is even quieter than the 2.4!
