I don't see the problem, 400N.m and 118kW for 2.2 verses 365N.m and 90kW for 2.4. The 2.2 is little highly stresses perhaps? It has proven to be more reliable than the 2.4 so far and will probably be detuned some what, 90kW 380N.m and 11k/l on the open road plus it is even quieter than the 2.4!
