2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
Rear wiring loom
if i wanted to take a 12v supply out of the loom, to power something that requires very low power, is it possible? if so, which cables / does anyone have a to hand copy of the rear loom?

I think there is a fused 12v supply behind the speaker cover in the rear tub - no idea of wire colours as I'm at work at the mo (hence being online at 0300hrs!) and so can't get to the wiring diagram. My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

I recall someone here mention a purple wire (or purple + white) at the rear door that is a permanent live. Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty..
Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be!

If it is pre 2012 you should have a live feed behind the speaker in the back. I have a 2012 110 and it does not have that wire any more.
If you put a search in you will come back with something like this.

Looking at the MY12 circuit diagrams and electrical library, the 2-way 6.3mm 'T' connector , with live and earth in it, seems to have been deleted from the build.
The towing pick up connector C0929 has a permanent fused live in it, but this can difficult to connect to, unless you have the towing electrics kit. 2.2 2012 110 utility Orkney Grey

There is a purple wire in the rear drivers side of my 110 1999 td5 behind the panel. Mine had a female spade connector already attached 1999 Defender TD5 110
