Hi,
Does anyone service their Defender wheel bearings or just wait until they fail/ get noisy/ wobbly wheels/ loose break pedal etc I replaced my front bearing circa 3yrs ago with Timkin bearings and new seals. Just wondering if I need to strip and re-grease at some point? Thanks, Steve ![]() Discovery 3 HSE BMW 330i Coupe |

Timken are known to last ages.
Id jack up the wheel, check for play and smoothness, if all ok then nothing to worry bout. if play then replace! Should know as I change mine frequently but then I do use mine off road all the time in work and outside work! edited to add but then they arent too expensive so you could do it for peace of mind anyway? 2011 Santorini Black USW XS. 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS |
