Thud, consider carefully what you want from that space between the seats.

Lots of possibilities out there, just be careful that any box you buy is compatible with the Puma. Some are too long especially with the drink holder and can interfere with the hi low gear lever.

A lot of these boxes require drilling the panel underneath.

Only one company I am aware of does a fixture so no drilling is required.

Ditto only one company does two height of pads, so try and work out the height you require for the pad.

Nakatanenga does a under cubby box security box. One of our customers uses this security box to transport legal class A drugs for medical purposes.

GMB does a similiar box but for putting lots of electric bits in and has a twin voltage display if running two batteries.

So decide exactly what you want, height, ease of fitting, drinks holder etc etc. Then decide what is best suited to your needs.

Both MSS and Safari Equip do good cubby boxes and there will be other makers out there as well.

Ideally: Three inches taller than standard. Easy swap fit for a Puma would be good. Side or rear netting. Lockable but not bomb-proof for my needs. Longer using the rear space above the cross brace.

We will install it for you, give you £200 and service your car free of charge Mr. Green

We have 25 off of the new design without the radio section at the powder coaters now, I'll drop you a PM and organise bringing one over to show you once they are ready.

I also have a brand new one in a similar design that we made as an alternative design to the one that we ended up going with. I'll drag it out this evening and put up pictures.

For the record our Radiobox fits in a Puma perfectly and is supplied with spacers allowing installation at two different heights.

MOG - I use mine for similar uses as you i.e. dogs ect just not feathers! Shocked That's the reason why I keep the bulkhead and to be honest with you other than a little dust it stays remarkably clean. ____\We|Will|Win/___
