United Kingdom 2003 Defender 110 Td5 G4 LE Java Black
Well I mailed lots of people got quotes from them and then looked at the recommendations I had received, Some wanted stupid money £500+ I always feel people quote this much when they don't want the job, some couldn't do it because of the size of it, as it wouldn't fit in their oven.

In the end I decided I would try Procoat near Newbury, they were not the cheapest but again not the most expensive. I met the boss Aston when I dropped it off he was a really nice bloke and showed me round his plant and there capabilities. I have not seen the results yet but looking at the other bits in the workshop I don't think I will have any issues.

They were really busy which is nice to see, and the size of the ovens was very impressive, you could drive a Land Rover through them!! But he was also keen to point out that little jobs were not an issue, and they could put it in with other jobs.

They also do Alloy wheels, so I asked and a 16" wheel would be £40 + Vat for blasting filling and powder coating in what ever colour you can pick!!

Jason.

Well mine is a big ARB bullbar so a fair size, considering if you were to pay the VAT on both you would be £66.00 and you still have to paint it I don't think it would work out a lot cheaper.

They are blasting it, and then spraying it with a hot zinc coating and then powder coating it so it should last a long time.
