My first question..go easy.

Howdy,
So I will try to keep it simple. Basically I am installing an overhead DVD for the kids in the back and I can take the permanent live, door live and ground from the rear interior light but i need an ignition fed live. Could i tap into the heated seats?? what colour would the wire be? as it would save me having to head to the dash? or is there a better way to do this?

given the ease with which you are able to run cables around the truck I would go for a proper solution and take a wire off the fuseboard that is already ignition switched, run it up the B or C pillar and across the headlining to the DVD
